New Antenna Offering Interchangeable Open-ended Aperture

New wideband dual polarized open-ended waveguides are now available. The two innovative measurement probes cover the 6 GHz to 20 GHz and the 18 GHz to 40 GHz frequency ranges. Each probe is delivered with a choice of apertures. In addition to the broadband caracteristics, interchangeable apertures offer the benefit of minimizing interaction between the AUT and the probe without requiring additional alignment procedure. SATIMO is proud to present StarMIMO, a line of measurement systems for testing MIMO performances of next generation wireless devices.

StarMIMO uses a circular, multi-probe arch, paired with an ampliﬁcation unit, a MV-Cal calibration unit, a Spatial Channel Emulator and a radio communication tester. With its MV-Cal unit, StarMIMO drastically reduces the calibration time required for MIMO measurements.

Flexibility is created by the selection of 4 to 32 dual polarized probes to form clusters of direct signals, scatterers and interferers.

Satimo Multi Measurement (SMM) is a versatile Over The Air Testing (OTA) software for StarLab and SG systems. With this new 1.3.0 release, A-GPS can now benefit from a wizard-enabled Version 3.0 of CTIA’s Test Plan. This wizard allows for test and measurement of receiver linearization, sensitivity and channel degradation, and works with the Spirent PLTS, Spirent ULTS and Agilent 8960. This new version of SMM offers numerous improvements in terms of ergonomics and functionality, including improved support of GPS via Bluetooth and enhanced support of WiMAX.

AEMI has developed a new weatherproof absorber utilizing a specially formulated spray-on vinyl that is electrically neutral and is therefore up to 10 dB better than any other weatherproof absorber on the market. The material treatment provides a moisture barrier that is resistant to chemicals, ﬂuids and petroleum while also being abrasion and puncture resistant. It can be permanently mounted, and its life expectancy will be increased if stored inside when not in use.
