RF Safety Product Demo While at CTIA Wireless 2013

Microwave Vision Group is pleased to announce its participation in CTIA Wireless 2013. The tradeshow is to be held at the Sands Exposition and Convention Center in the heart of Las Vegas, Nevada from the 20^th to the 23^rd of May.

MVG will be there to share expertise on antenna testing solutions and RF safety regarding these activities. We’ll be giving demonstrations of our EME Spy 140, a real-time monitoring device which measures surrounding electromagnetic fields and notifies the user if pre-defined levels are exceeded.

New product - High Power Absorbers

High energy areas of chambers and equipment need absorbers that can stand the heat and offer quality reflectivity levels. The hollow, pyramidal honeycomb structure of MVG’s new HPX High Power Absorbers allows for quick heat dissipation and cooling in high power testing environments. MVG is now offering high power handling absorbers in 3 standard sizes. Customized dimensions are available upon request.

The primary goal of the MIMO OTA measurement system is to be able to compare Multi-antenna/MIMO devices and algorithms based on their throughput performances when tested against spatial channel models. All critical parts of the mobile terminal design (antennas, RF front-end, baseband processing) are tested in an end-to-end configuration. This application note aims to present all the most relevant technical features of the MVG StarMIMO system relative to the MIMO OTA measurement technique with anechoic chambers.
