An Antenna Measurements tutorial will be given at DIAT, an academic institute in Pune, India on January 31st, 2012 (Is CANCELLED)

An MVG scientist was invited as a guest speaker to Defense Institute of Advanced Technology (DIAT) in Pune India to give a two hours tutorial on Antenna Measurements as part of an EMI/EMC course.

Some of the objectives are:
1. What is the definition of "Far Field"?
2. What is the definition of "Near Field"?
3. What is the definition of "Radiation Pattern"?
4. What are the antenna radiation regions and how are they defined?
5. What is the definition of "Directivity" and in what units is it measured?
6. What is the definition of "Gain" and in what units is it measured?
